Join the LPC community for an adventurous weekend of repairing, painting, and rejuvenating the LPC camphouse in Freedom, New Hampshire. Mark your calendars for these dates and get ready for some LPC-style fun!
Arrive on Friday: Volunteers gather at the Freedom camphouse to gear up for the weekend’s projects while enjoying a hearty meal together. Find your bunk and settle in for the adventure.
Saturday Morning: Teams dive into action with a variety of tasks, including:
- Repairing loft windows
- Installing new windows
- Adding new screens to the gazebo
- Putting the raft in Loon Lake
- Replacing the basketball hoop net
- Painting bathroom and kitchen shelves
- Repairing and replacing shower linoleum
- Resetting the toilet in the yellow bathroom
- Adding spring hinges to fire escapes
- Replacing the clean-out in the sewer line
- Filing and smoothing raft ladder edges
Saturday Night: Celebrate with a grand potluck, folkdancing, and plenty of laughs. Who knew home (camp) improvement could be this much fun?
Don’t Forget Your Tools! Bring dust masks, safety glasses, gloves, buckets, wheelbarrows, pry bars, hammers, saws, power tools—anything you think might come in handy.
